This is another National Film Board Canada gem. I really enjoyed this website not only because on the cool interface but because being a former ‘Bubble Dancer’ myself I related to all of the stories. The way I feel is the way I want people to feel when they use my site.

The Interface is quite simple and easy to use. Again another loading page telling us what it is about. This page works better than the Seven Deadly Sins because there it is in writing what you are about to see rather than SDS you don’t know what’s coming.

Because this is a video piece about Dishwashers in a city in America it has an intro, the intro is great for this site because it’s a little taste of what is to come. This wouldn’t really work for my site as all my stories are different.

When the site opens a video plays straight away and we have the option to view the person’s bio or pick another story to watch.

^ This is the mini NavBar. It works very well with this site as each character is clearly represented. Although I do think the proper interface with the pictures looks better but this is a nice maybe unnecessary extra way to get to another story.

The Interface itself kind of feels like a parallax in the sense it feels like one page. I do like this because scrolling is too much work when you wanna enjoy video and media. The way the characters are laid out are very nice kind of like a poloroid. This wouldn’t work for me because I am not using people’s faces. The background to every part is fitting with the theme and really ties it all together.

What I would take from this Interface is keeping the theme all the way through. Also it all being one page is so handy. It is not as impressive looking as Seven Deadly Sins. It feels more welcoming and also more about the people and their story than the fancy effects.
